REPORTS TO: Operations Manager and shift Supervisor
PURPOSE: Operators fill the most important and critical role in the company, serving our clients and their callers. It is imperative that this is done professionally and effectively.
EXPECTATIONS: The Operator must be able to efficiently and competently answer calls, take messages, and contact clients. While being productive is important, quality is even more critical; both must be pursued. This is an hourly position.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Job applicants are given an Assessment test which measures grammar, spelling, comprehension, typing, and names & number skills. A passing score of 70 percent or above, a clear & understandable speaking voice and the ability to work weekends & holidays are required of all operators. Bilingual skills & computer knowledge are a plus.
DUTIES: Process calls: This includes answering calls, taking messages or orders, giving out information, and contacting clients as appropriate. Equal attention should be given first to quality and then to productivity. Following the directions of supervisors and managers, as well as company policies and procedures is of paramount importance.
SPECIAL TASKS: Special tasks may be assigned by the General Manager. These may or may not relate to this job description. These tasks will not take precedent over the above duties. Some special tasks include: Making callbacks for our existing clients, scheduling appointments, responding to emails, sending out mail for our clients, etc.
OTHER ACTIVITIES AS NEEDED: Unexpected or unplanned issues arise from time-to-time. These will need to be handled and dealt with as they occur.

*These are Full-Time (37 hours) positions. The business is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. You will be required to work weekends, and holidays. Flexible schedules are possible due to varied shifts/hours. Casual work environment.
Thirty days of training will be provided to all new hires. Three months probationary period.
